Thanks to Karnataka Integrated Development Service (KIDS), an organization that works for the welfare of school dropouts.
Maulavali’s parents, Babajan and Saira Banu, are daily wage workers. He has three sisters who never went to school.
The parents wanted to educate Maulavali and admitted him to the primary school
After completing first year his parents took him out of school and sent him to graze cattle.
After KIDS opened its activities in the village to get school dropouts to get back to school, the mid-day meal played a major role and Maulavali was back in school. His smartness helped him to go to a child labourer’s exchange programmed at Kudalasangama. Among more the 500 children Maulavali was one of the 23 selected to go to germany. Along with him Raichur’s Suvarna and Bangalore’s Rajeshwari are visited. The three children are fly to Luxembourg along with Saraswati of an NGO in Mysore.
Proud:
KIDS are proud that their effort at rehabilitant school dropouts has paid rich dividends.
Maulavali’s parents are very excited that their cattle grazing son was gone to Germany. The entire village was happy for him.
